SurgiCare of Central Jersey is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. We are licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare. Procedures are performed in many surgical specialties as well as Gastroenterology and pain management.

We opened in 1985 and are owned by 14 physicians. Additionally, other physicians have privileges to perform surgery and procedures at SurgiCare. Our staff of Board Certified Physicians, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Registered Nurses have many years of experience in their respective specialties. They are supported by a staff of Nursing Assistants, Clerical Staff and Technicians, all of whom give our patients the best care available. We take great pride in the overwhelmingly positive responses from our patients.

Surgicare was recently awarded the 2014 Flame Award from the SGNA. Click Here for more details.

Why choose an ambulatory surgery center? Ambulatory surgery centers have existed for more than 20 years. They have proven to provide cost-effective, personalized, efficient patient care. Accredited and licensed ambulatory surgery centers are required to abide by the same regulations and safety guidelines as hospitals.

The information on this web site will help you to prepare for your visit to SurgiCare. Copies of all of our patient forms are available by clicking here. Prior to your visit, please print out and complete these forms and fax or mail them to us so that they can be reviewed by our staff. If your primary care physician asked you to have testing done prior to your procedure, please forward the results of these tests to SurgiCare as well.

Please be aware that the appointment time given to you by your doctor may be changed, depending on his or her schedule. You will be called by a nurse from SurgiCare the day before your procedure to confirm your time, review some medical information and give you any pre-operative instructions.

Our billing department will verify your insurance coverage before your visit. They will contact you if they have questions. If they do not call you, your insurance has been accepted. If you have a co-pay or deductable, you will be required to pay it on the day of your procedure. If you do not have insurance or if you are having a procedure that is not covered, you will need to pay for your surgery in advance. We accept American Express, Mastercard, and Visa.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Our Executive Director, Linda Wadnik-Kollar, RN, can be reached at 908-769-1354. Our Director of nursing Patricia Taber, RN, as well as the rest of our staff including Sarah Carrano, our Director of Revenue can be reached at our main number, 908-769-8000. Any paperwork can be faxed to us at 908-769-8039 or 908-769-4139. Please be sure to include the patient's name and phone number on all faxes.

Our office hours are 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday.

We understand your concerns when you are having surgery and strive to make the process as stress free as possible.
